FULL MIDWIFERY CARE 

We approach pregnancy, birth and postpartum as healthy and sacred life events that are deserving of individualized, culturally compassionate care, seeking medical intervention only when necessary. 

 

Our hour long prenatal visits and extensive postpartum home visits allow plentiful time to build trusting and respectful relationships and to deliver highly individualized care.  We take the time to discuss the risks and benefits of all standard procedures so that decisions are made based on the unique needs of the clients while prioritizing safety for the mother and baby.
 

Clients may give birth in the comfort and safety of their own home or in our birthing suite located in Ranchos de Taos.  We offer water births, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), doula services as well as annual exams and well woman care, working seamlessly within the medical maternity care system in the rare cases when medical intervention is needed.

PAYMENT

 We believe in affordable, accessible care for all and are willing to find a solution that works for you and your family.

We are curranty unable to accept New Mexico Medicaid but can offer sliding scale for self pay clients.
